How we started
The current owner of the company is Martin Jokubauskas. Everything started when he became interested in Internet projects in 1995. Then the first simple web pages have born. They were written in plain HTML.
2001
Martin with two other partners found company named “City Sky” in 2001, which developed websites for business. One year after Darius Miliauskas joined their team. He was developing C++ at that moment, however later he decided to retrain to WEB world. Then WEB systems for business had started to develop. First major client became international telecommunication’s company “Tele2” with which our work has lasted for 7 years.
2004
Martin Jokubauskas and Darius Miliauskas – the two remaining team members took over the activity of “City Sky” in 2004. WEB systems for business had been developing since 2004 according to the individual orders.
2006
The team began to grow and in 2006 company changed their name to “IT-ideas”. Various Internet business ideas and models of company began to develop (two niche social networks, mailing software, 4 versions of content management systems and others). At the moment projects are called “Startups” and are backed up by investors money. All sort of websites were born at that time, from simple one to a big online shop and information management systems.
2008
In September of 2008 the new team has been created for one more project named “SEO tyrimai” (SEO research). During 3 years we have become the biggest SEO services offering company in Lithuania according to achieved results and the number of clients.
2009
Martin Jokubauskas had become the only owner and CEO of the company at the beginning of 2009.
We organized Internet marketing seminar “Visitors flow 101” in April 2009.
Together with INFOBALT association and partners from INERNET MARKETING LAB we prepared and implemented the biggest webinar (a series of online seminars) in Lithuania on May of 2009 named “Infobalt TV”.
In September of 2009 INTERNET IDEAS LTD was one of the founders in the opening of two new companies in Lithuania:
LLC „DailyCard“ – banking loyalty card. Later company’s shares were sold. At the moment “DailyCard” is the biggest banking loyalty program in Lithuania.
Public Company „WEB Akademija“ – education and information company which has organized the largest Internet-based business series of events in Lithuania. The activity had been implemented since September of 2009 till January of 2011. During this period we have recorded unique 40 hours video archive about Online marketing in Lithuanian language. Lecturers were IT professionals from all Lithuania.
„E-rinka.lt“ – a new information system project which has been started to develop in January 2010. “E-rinka.lt” has been designed to analyze Google statistical data and ascertain the customers with Online market needs according to submitted Google data and sorting them by the market activities.
2011
Project for time management and personal effectiveness improvement has started to develop on January 2011. At the moment this project-startup is in the “SEED” stage.
Few new projects for UK market have been started in May – July of 2011.
